Cattail Creek Estate Winery

In 1957, the history of the Cattail Creek Estate Winery began when Opa Epp planted the family's first grape vines in the Niagara Peninsula.  It definitely was a different industry back then, but years of hard work, dedication and passion have created what they have today - a vineyard respected for producing top-quality wine grapes.

In 2006, the family dream became a reality with the creation of Cattail Creek Estate Winery.  By hand selecting the best grapes from the vineyards, they created their first vintage of wines featuring Riesling, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Franc - grapes which have previously been used to produce award-winning wines at other top-quality Ontario wineries.

Cattail Creek's goal is to be recognized as a premium producer of Canadian wines by working together with our winemaker to produce excellent value, estate grown wines that exhibit the wonderful and unique characteristics of Niagara on the Lake.
